Bi-pass buckles for 50 mm webbing, 1 800 daN ultimate load. Flat two-slot steel plate for length adjustment or webbing junction. Black or zinc-plated finish.
Data sheet
The bi-pass buckle is a flat two-slot steel plate for 50 mm webbing. The webbing passes through one slot and back through the second, where it locks by friction. Depending on how it is threaded, the same buckle serves either to adjust and hold the length of a single strap or to join two webbing ends in an assembly.
Ultimate load is 1 800 daN. The plate measures 73x46 mm with a 5 mm thickness and a 51 mm slot width, for a unit weight of around 77 g. Two finishes are available: black zinc-plated steel and standard zinc-plated steel, the black finish suiting cabin assemblies where a discreet appearance is preferred.
Stocked as a spare part, compatible with 50 mm GPI Forankra webbing.
