FAR 25.853 tarpaulin
This PVC tarpaulin is the fire-resistant grade specified for use in aircraft cabins and air cargo holds, where any covering material must meet flammability requirements. It is used for load...
D-rings for 25 to 50 mm webbing, ultimate loads from 250 to 5 000 daN. Zinc-plated steel or nickel-plated. Half-round attachment points for restraint and tie-down assemblies.
Data sheet
D-rings are half-round anchor parts used as fixed attachment points for restraint strap and net assemblies. The flat side takes the webbing loop and the round side receives the hook, snap or carabiner that connects to the load or structure.
The range covers 25, 45 and 50 mm webbing widths, with ultimate loads from 250 daN for light personal restraint up to 5 000 daN for heavy lashing. Construction is zinc-plated steel for corrosion resistance, or nickel-plated for the lightest 25 mm reference. A flat D-ring variant is available at 5 000 daN for 50 mm webbing, where the flatter cross-section sits closer to the load surface. Unit weights run from 15.6 g to 121 g depending on size.
Stocked as spare parts, compatible with the corresponding GPI Forankra webbing widths.
