The 1B6N is a 1-piece military cargo net used to secure loads on 463L / HCU-6/E pallets in air transport operations by armed forces and operators of military cargo aircraft. It carries NAS 3610 code 1B6N, is certified ETSO C90c, approved by AFLCMC/EZFC (ATTLA), and complies with the applicable MIL-N-27443 requirements. The 1-piece design is a GPI Forankra evolution from the historical 3-piece configuration, delivering equivalent restraint capacity with simpler handling. It has been adopted by various NATO forces and used in operation for years now.
Construction uses 22 mm polyester slotted webbing approved under FAR 25.853, with an anti-abrasion treatment applied to extend service life under rough handling conditions. The mesh is 300x300 mm knotless. Pallet footprint is 88x108", loading height is 96" and maximum gross weight is 10 000 lb (4 550 kg). Tare weight is 33 kg.
Restraint is provided by 22 tie down hooks with retainer and 40 adjusting hooks for fast and reliable tensioning. Two central placards (300x150 mm) display the net references and MGW.
Options include custom logo on placards, ODLN placard, lightweight ergonomic hooks, metal identification plates and green webbing for military applications. EASA Form 1 certificate and Component & Maintenance Manual are supplied with each net.
