The ETSO military helicopter lashing strap secures helicopters on naval carriers and on the ground, in operational conditions where friction resistance and reliable anchoring are critical. It is certified ETSO C172, with a ratchet buckle qualified to SAE AS 5385.
Construction uses 50 mm polyester flat webbing approved under FAR 25.853, with a friction-reinforced weave that resists abrasion against deck fittings and airframe edges. Ultimate load is 10 000 lb / 4 536 kg. Two standard lengths are available: 3 m (weight 3 kg) and 7 m (weight 3.2 kg).
End fittings combine a reinforced flat hook and a single J hook, shaped to fit helicopter anchoring points without damaging them. Standard color is army green. Other lengths and configurations are available on request for specific platforms.
